Excel Integration for Dashboarding
I really liked it! for some time I have been looking for a book that will explore different integration techniques. This book takes you through the A to Z, with practical examples. One important note: you must have SQL server 2005 installed on your machines to benefit the most of this book. Microsoft sells SQL Server 2005 for about $50, complete package for consultants and professionals who wants to demo Excel data management techniques. Great Book!

`Advanced` or `Seldom Used Features`
I am an intermediate level Excel user/developer. I was looking for a book that would shed some light on the advanced features of Excel's reporting tools. This book did not provide me any information on what I was looking for.

If you have not used Excel's reporting tools before, this is the perfect book for you. It is very precise and detailed and each step to constructing a pivot table report or graph is very easy to follow. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in learning about the reporting options that are usually among the `seldom used features` in Excel.

Great Business tool for Excel
I used this text in my CIS 2640 Business Reports and Analysis class at WMU in Spring 2008. It's a great text for learning Advanced Sklills with Pivot Tables in particular with Excel. There ar elots of diagrams, and the author attempts to make the book seem personable and familiar, not dry and technical. There is lots of support for this book, and excercises you can do on the publishers website, and files to download in concordance with the text. The only drawback is if you have Windows Vista, as this text is designed for Windows XP OS, even though it uses Office 2007. Otherwise, very straightforward, with no advanced knowledge of Excel necessary.
